8 oz can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp corn syrup
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
Mix all ingredients together in a small saucepan with a wire whisk.
Heat to a boil, stirring frequently.

Condensed Cream of Tomato Soup:
Omit water and milk from recipe. Use in recipes in place of one can of Cream of Tomato Soup.
