Hot Rice Cereal

1/3 cup
uncooked brown or white rice
1 1/2 cups water
1/8 tsp salt

Grind rice in blender for 20 seconds on medium high speed.

Add ground rice to boiling water in a saucepan.

Cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Makes 2 servings. Serve with milk if desired.
Raisin & Spice:
Add 2 Tbsp brown sugar, 2 Tbsp raisins and 1/4 tsp cinnamon.
Honey Almond:
Add 2 T honey + 2 T crushed almonds
